The Institute of Fundraising (IoF) is in the process of applying to become a chartered institute; a prestigious title which will give the British fundraising sector more recognition and as a respected profession in its own right. During the 2019 Fundraising Convention in London, our guest presenter Jolan van Herwaarden spoke to the Chair of the IoF, Amanda Bringans, about what the title of 'chartered institute' would mean for the professionalism and diversity of the British fundraising sector. They also venture into the IoF's progressive stance towards combating sexual harassment in the sector after Jolan tells Amanda about a badge by Fundraising Magazine she is wearing.
