#62 Aftershock, James Turell by Gry Worre Hallberg

'Aftershock' is an immersive installation created specifically for Copenhagen Contemporary by the American artist James Turrell. It was exhibited from 2022 to 2024.

Describing this work is Gry Worre Hallberg, artistic director of the performance group and movement ‘Sisters Hope’ in Denmark. The unique practice of Sisters Hope unfolds at the intersection of immersion, intervention, activism, research, and pedagogy.

The Invisible Collection focuses on people's stories about their favorite artwork. It is an online art collection that you cannot see but can hear. Marres harvests stories in which people of all ages and backgrounds share their art experiences.
