This first PILOT-episode “Spaces for Identities: Between Gatekeeping and Safekeeping” includes conversations with the founders of three cultural spaces in Amsterdam: Kikimora, New Wave Skate and Body Electric Presents. We focus on unraveling how identity politics undergird the construction of safe spaces for historically excluded identities in Amsterdam.
