Abiola Makinwa won the runner up prize of the Compliance Award 2020 for her contribution to the compliance society for the integrity training module she developed for The Hague University for Applied Science. Her work is partly based on and inspired by theories of Sheehan and Schmidt, “Preparing accounting students for ethical decision making: Developing individual codes of conduct based on personal values”, J. of Acc.
