Recently I traveled to Oslo, Norway with a group from the Salvation Army in Amsterdam. We visited several innovative programs of the Frelses Armeen, also known as het Leger des Heils or Salvation Army. I met Rune, the head coach of the Norwegian Homeless Soccer Team, both women and men. I guess it’s the best job in the world. Listen to what he has to say about it and what a name tag can mean for somebody who has had no name for a long time. To be honest I had no clue and I had all these assumptions in my head about the participants in homeless soccer teams. In reality, it's much easier, clever and above all very human.Â
