The brilliant Bruce Willis may have gone on record contradicting that, but we all know he's wrong.

Bruce's portrayal of John McClane is layered with a working class, every-man approach, making him one of the most relatable action stars/characters in the world. Additionally the late great Sir Alan Rickman, delivers a chilling, subtlety menacing performance in one of cinema's most iconic villains, Hans Gruber.

Throw in a brilliantly written script and some astounding action sequences, filled with as much suspense as there is gunfire and you have not only one of cinema's greatest action movies, but the best darn Christmas movie on the market.
