S01-E06 | How to Communicate Changes to a Fully Remote Workforce: Javier Ortega Estrada, Hopin

Virtual meetings. By now, we all got used to them as Covid has made it pretty much impossible to work without them. Hopin's founder jumped at the opportunity of virtual meetings reaching further than just one-on-ones or team sessions and instead allowed customers to reach up to 100,000 people in one virtual event.

This catapulted them from a small start up founded by an Australian 5th of June 2019 into a company valued at 7.75 billion dollars with almost 1,000 employees today.

As a true believer in remote networking, Hopin also structured their team accordingly. The company's employees work fully remotely across 45 countries helping over 100,000 customers worldwide.

But how do you give professional service to customers if your most senior employees have been working at the company for no more than 1.5 years? And how do you communicate changes at scale to a fully remote workforce? In this episode, Alex Broekman talks to Javier Ortega Estrada, VP of Global Sales at Hopin.
