Deep down in the African Bush of the Zambezi region (Caprivi) we can find the untouch world of the Babwata National Park. Here you will find some of the largest elephant herds in Africa that travers the floodplains of the Kwandoo River.
Owners Dusty and Tinolla Rodgers built here in 2014-2015 their dream which is called African Monarch Lodges. The birth of African Monarch Lodges, like all successful stories, begins with one man’s dream. A vision fuelled by passion. This dream led to the establishment of a collection built on the principles of Conservation, Community and Conservancy.
Sadly Dusty who was known also as Captain Caprivi due to his long lasting work in this area passed away in 2022. Tinolla a real powerwoman in the bush alongside with the local communities did went on with all the community and conservation work what needed to be done.
Listen to this very powerfull story full of love and passion.
